OBD Mileage Correction
On some supported vehicles, mileage correction can be carried out electronically through the vehicle's diagnostic (OBD) connection. This can allow the required programming to be completed without removing the instrument cluster.

Not every vehicle supports mileage correction through the diagnostic port. The available method depends on the exact make, model, year and electronic system fitted to the vehicle.
Replacement Instrument Cluster Mileage Correction
Instrument clusters and dashboards can fail and require replacement. A replacement cluster may not automatically display the vehicle's genuine mileage. This is particularly relevant when a used or donor instrument cluster has been fitted.
Depending on the vehicle, professional programming may be required to correct the displayed mileage. This is known as replacement instrument cluster mileage correction or replacement dashboard mileage correction, and it addresses the incorrect mileage after dashboard replacement that can otherwise leave an odometer discrepancy after cluster replacement.
Where a donor instrument cluster has been fitted, the donor instrument cluster mileage may still reflect the previous vehicle's recorded distance rather than the vehicle it has been fitted to. Instrument cluster programming can, on supported vehicles, align the displayed reading with the vehicle's genuine mileage.

Mileage correction has legitimate uses where a vehicle is displaying an incorrect mileage, such as following instrument cluster replacement or repair. Deliberately misrepresenting a vehicle's mileage can have serious legal consequences, so KeyLogik only provides correction for legitimate mileage discrepancies.
KeyLogik does not provide vehicle clocking, mileage blockers, mileage freezers, or any device or service designed to prevent genuine mileage from being recorded or to deliberately mislead a future buyer about a vehicle's true mileage.
Incorrect Mileage on Your MOT History?
Correcting the mileage displayed by the vehicle does not automatically change previous mileage entries recorded on the MOT database.
If mileage has been entered incorrectly during an MOT, this needs to be dealt with through the appropriate official process. KeyLogik cannot alter historical DVSA/MOT records.
