Key Programming — Advanced Transponder & Remote Coding
Key not recognised by your vehicle?
Modern vehicles use sophisticated transponder technology in their keys. If your key's chip fails, loses its programming, or you've had a battery replaced, the car may no longer recognise it. Without the right diagnostic equipment, there's no DIY fix for this.
We programme keys with professional-grade equipment
Keylogik carries the latest automotive diagnostic tools to programme transponder keys, proximity fobs, and remote controls at your location. Whether it's re-coding an existing key or programming a brand new one, we handle the full process on-site.
Car key programming is at the heart of what KEYLOGIK does. Modern vehicle keys contain encrypted transponder chips that must be electronically paired to your vehicle's immobiliser before the engine will start — and that pairing requires specialist diagnostic equipment that most high-street key cutters simply don't have.
We programme transponder keys, remote fobs, flip keys, proximity keys and smart keyless entry systems on-site at your location across Oxfordshire and surrounding counties. Whether your key has lost its coding after a battery change, you need an additional key coded, or you've had a new key supplied elsewhere that needs programming, we handle it at your home, workplace or roadside.
For car key programming in Oxford, see our dedicated Oxford page for local details and recent work.
Many replacement remote keys require programming to restore full remote locking and immobiliser functionality. If your key starts the car but won't unlock it remotely, we can supply and programme a replacement remote key to get your central locking working again.
If your Mercedes won't start and the steering is locked, the fault often lies with the Electronic Steering Lock rather than the key — see our dedicated Mercedes steering lock repair page for diagnosis and repair options.
For Volkswagen key programming across different VW key and immobiliser generations, see our dedicated Volkswagen page.

Recent Work
BMW E46 key programming in Wantage. The EWS immobiliser module was removed from behind the dashboard and the new transponder was programmed directly to the EEPROM chip on the circuit board. The key blade was then cut and remote central locking coded in — the customer's original key had no working central locking.
